Resume Maker is a resume-building service that helps you create, preview, and download professional resumes as PDFs.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Resume Maker, we may collect:

• Account details — such as your mobile number for sign-in (OTP), and profile fields you choose to save (for example name, date of birth, photo).
• Resume content — information you enter for your resume (education, work history, skills, contact details, and similar content).
• Device & usage data — basic technical information needed to run and improve the service (for example app version, device type, and crash or performance signals).
• Communications — messages you send us for support.

We do not ask for more personal data than needed to provide the resume service.

3. How we use your information

• Create and manage your account (including OTP verification).
• Generate resume previews and PDF downloads you request.
• Save your resumes and profile so you can return later.
• Keep the app secure, fix bugs, and improve features.
• Respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How we share information

We may share data only when needed to operate the service, for example:

• Service providers — trusted vendors that help with hosting, SMS/OTP delivery, storage, or analytics, under appropriate safeguards.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
• Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may transfer as part of that process with continued protection where required.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and resume data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may delete your account at any time from the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) or on our website at Delete Account. When you confirm deletion, we permanently remove your account and resume data from our database, except where we must retain information for legal or security reasons.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices & rights

• Update profile and resume content in the app.
• Request access to your data where applicable.
• Delete your account and resume data from the app, or via our Delete Account web page.

Depending on where you live, local privacy laws may give you additional rights.

8. Children

Resume Maker is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
